Federal ministers Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Talal Chaudhry on Saturday launched a blistering attack on Noreen Niazi condemning her recent remarks as a direct assault on the country’s integrity and confirming that legal proceedings have been initiated.
Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos Defended
Speaking to the media, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry hailed Operation Bunyan-un-Marso as a historic success while taking aim at the opposition. He alleged that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and his family consistently exploit any platform to issue statements against Pakistan.
The federal minister described Noreen Niazi’s comments as wholly condemnable, asserting that they were designed to undermine the country’s integrity, dignity, and prestige. He noted that even the president of the United States had repeatedly acknowledged Pakistan’s victory, making the remarks all the more regrettable.
Allegations of Economic Sabotage
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry echoed the condemnation, terming the statement highly regrettable and accusing the PTI leadership of actively seeking to harm Pakistan’s national interests.>
Chaudhry claimed that Pakistan had triumphed despite what he characterized as an India-Israel nexus, arguing that Noreen Niazi’s statement reflected the agenda of anti-Pakistan proxies. He further alleged that PTI had attempted to push the country towards economic default by targeting the national economy.
According to the state minister, letters were dispatched to the International Monetary Fund in a calculated effort to destabilize Pakistan’s financial stability.
Legal Action Confirmed
Talal Chaudhry issued a stark warning that the state would take decisive action against any elements attempting to destabilize the country. He confirmed that formal legal proceedings have been initiated specifically over Noreen Niazi’s statement, signaling a potential escalation in the ongoing political tensions.
