At least 14 people were killed and 20 others wounded when a suicide bomber detonated explosives near the main gate of the Kabal Police Station in Swat district on Wednesday, police confirmed. The dead and injured include both police personnel and civilians caught in the devastating explosion.

The powerful blast partially damaged the police station building. Rescue teams launched an immediate operation, rushing the victims to Central Hospital Swat for medical treatment and forensic procedures. A heavy contingent of police and law enforcement agencies, led by Swat District Police Officer (DPO) Mohammad Omar Khan, swiftly cordoned off the area to secure the scene and begin an investigation.
