Pakistan Cricket Board Appoints Hina Manzoor as National Women's Team Manager

In a historic move, the Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed Hina Manzoor as the manager of the national women’s cricket team. During the upcoming Champions Trophy starting on February 19, Hina Manzoor will be responsible for operations management. This decision marks a new milestone in Pakistan cricket. Hina Manzoor, who has a background in the police force, has previously held various important positions. She was also tasked with overseeing the team during the tri-nation series starting on February 8. Her appointment is for a two-year term, reflecting her capabilities and organizational skills.

Hina Manzoor’s leadership qualities were recognized last year when she was nominated as the manager of the Pakistan Women’s Under-19 squad heading to the Asia Cup. This appointment underscores the PCB’s determination to promote women’s inclusion in cricket. This initiative not only signifies a positive step for women’s cricket but also highlights the importance of women in the cricketing arena. Hina Manzoor’s appointment has sparked a wave of joy in cricketing circles, with hopes high that she will play a crucial role in the success of the national women’s cricket team through her abilities.
