Security forces in Pakistan have killed 11 militants during separate intelligence-based operations conducted across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, according to security sources.
South Waziristan Operation Targets Militant Hideouts
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, killing five militants affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij.
According to security sources, the operation targeted militant hideouts, which were destroyed during the action. A substantial cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain militants.
The sources stated that the intelligence-based operations inflicted significant losses on the militants in terms of both personnel and infrastructure.
Balochistan: Six Militants Killed in Gorander, Mashkel
Meanwhile, security forces conducted operations against Fitna al-Hindustan militants in Balochistan, killing six terrorists in the Gorander and Mashkel areas.
According to security sources, militants opened fire on a security check post in Mashkel before attempting to flee. Security forces responded promptly and neutralized the fleeing militants.
The sources said the operations were conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitan 3 and the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
Forces Reaffirm Commitment to Eliminating Militancy
Security forces reiterated their resolve to eliminate militancy across the country and establish lasting peace.
