Power Rangers (billed as Saban’s Power Rangers) is an upcoming 2017 American superhero film directed by Dean Israelite, produced by Haim Saban, Brian Casentini, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey and written by John Gatins, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Kieran Mulroney, and Michele Mulroney. The third feature film in the franchise of the same name, it stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Bill Hader, with Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks.
The film is a reboot and reimagining of the Power Rangers franchise, and the first film since Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, featuring most of the main characters of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers portrayed by a new cast. Franchise creator Haim Saban returned to produce the film under Saban Capital Group
