ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan is completely healthy and fit, according to his sister Dr Uzma Khan, who met him at PIMS Hospital in Islamabad on Friday.
Speaking to the media hours after the meeting, Dr Uzma said she personally checked Imran Khan’s blood pressure, which measured 120/80 — a reading well within the normal range.
Emotional Exchange During Hospital Visit
Dr Uzma described the encounter as emotional, noting that medical staff had expressed concern that stress could elevate Khan’s blood pressure. However, Khan remained calm throughout the conversation.
“I shared the doctors’ concern that his blood pressure might increase,” Dr Uzma said. “But he replied that his blood pressure was normal and did not rise.”
Positive Signs on Eyesight Recovery
The former premier’s sister also reported an improvement in his eyesight. She said Khan praised his doctor for the treatment he has received, indicating satisfaction with his medical care.
The update comes amid ongoing public interest in the health of the PTI founder, who has been under medical supervision at PIMS Hospital.
