Victim Collapsed on Sidewalk Pleading for Help
Shortly before 4:30 a.m., the woman, identified as Nadia S., collapsed on the sidewalk at the intersection of Rue d’Alsace-Lorraine and Rue Bourdignon, directly opposite the Gaston-Métivet maternity clinic, her throat bleeding heavily.
According to a witness account, she cried out “Help me” repeatedly. A nurse from the clinic was alerted and administered first aid before firefighters took over, but their efforts were in vain. The victim was pronounced dead at 5:17 a.m.
