Reports from Indian media unveiled this incident when, in 2018, Sanjay Dutt was notified by the police just one day after the woman’s demise that her properties and bank accounts had been transferred to his name. The fan, Nasha Patil, had designated Sanjay Dutt as the sole heir to all her assets, a confirmation also verified by his lawyers. Nasha had made it clear before her death that she was a great admirer of Dutt, though he has chosen not to contest the matter as he never knew her personally.
Presently, Sanjay Dutt owns assets worth around $40 million, including luxurious residences in Mumbai and Dubai. He charges between $700,000 to $1.1 million for a film project.
