ICC Releases Official Champions Trophy 2025 Anthem ‘Jeeto Game Khel Mein’

ICC Unveils Champions Trophy 2025 Anthem 'Jeeto Game Khel Mein' by Atif Aslam

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the official anthem for the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan. Titled ‘Jeeto Game Khel Mein’, the anthem features a stellar performance by leading singer Atif Aslam. The lyrics are penned by Adnan Dhool and Asfandyar Asad, with production by Abdullah Siddiqui.

The anthem’s video showcases flags of all participating teams fluttering in the Champions Trophy, adding a stronger message to the tournament. Atif Aslam himself appears in the video, celebrating cricket with children, youth, and elders. The anthem has already gained popularity even before the start of the Champions Trophy, with fans on social media sharing intriguing comments.

The ICC Champions Trophy is set to kick off in Pakistan from February 19 under a hybrid model. According to the model, all matches involving the Indian team will be held in the United Arab Emirates since the Indian cricket team has declined to travel to Pakistan. Eight teams, including Pakistan, Australia, England, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, and New Zealand, will participate in the tournament.

Following the release of the anthem, Atif Aslam’s name has surged to the top trends on social media. Fans have praised his performance, with some comparing it to previous anthems. One user wrote, “It’s something that sports teach you.” Additionally, the anthem includes cheering for Pakistanis alongside Indian and Bangladeshi flags, sending a positive message that cricket unites nations.

The previous edition of the Champions Trophy took place in 2017, where Pakistan, under the leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed, defeated India in the final. This victory remains memorable for Pakistani fans. Pakistan was initially slated to host the 2025 Champions Trophy, but after the refusal of the Indian cricket board to send its team, the ICC decided to play matches between both countries on neutral venues.

Moreover, Pakistan has been awarded the hosting rights for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2028.
