Pakistani Fast Bowler Haris Rauf’s Medical Reports Released
Pakistan cricket fast bowler Haris Rauf’s medical reports have been released, revealing that he is facing a chest strain. The injury occurred when he felt discomfort in his ribs while bowling during the first match of the national series against New Zealand. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson confirmed that Rauf’s injury is not serious, and it is expected that he will be fully fit for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 starting in Karachi from February 19.
Rauf was affected during his seventh over in the match and had to leave the field, after which Salman Ali took over to complete his over. The PCB announced as a precautionary measure that Rauf will not participate in the match against South Africa scheduled for February 12.
According to doctors’ diagnosis, Rauf’s condition is stable, and there is hope for his speedy recovery. Bowling coach Azhar Mahmood also confirmed that the team’s morale was affected after Rauf had to leave the field. Rauf is part of the Champions Trophy squad, and if he recovers soon, he will be available for participation in this crucial tournament.
