Cricket enthusiasts worldwide can now secure their tickets for the highly anticipated Men’s Asia Cup 2025, organized by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). The announcement made on Friday reveals that ticket prices commence at 40 dirhams for matches held in Abu Dhabi and 50 dirhams for those in Dubai. Among the most eagerly awaited fixtures is the India-Pakistan clash, for which tickets are part of a seven-match package starting at 1,400 dirhams.
Single tickets for other matches not included in this package are also available, with more details on sales at stadium ticket booths in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to be released soon.
The tournament, featuring notable teams across Asia, kicks off on September 9 in the UAE, with Group A including Pakistan, India, Oman, and the UAE. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong form Group B. The opening match will see Afghanistan face Hong Kong at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium.
Despite India’s recent policy against bilateral sporting engagements with Pakistan, the Indian cricket team is set to participate in this multi-nation tournament. This follows a resolution from India’s sports ministry that allows participation in multilateral events.
Additionally, the Pakistan Sports Board has urged federations to seek prior approval for any events held in India. Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasizes any discussions on bilateral sports ties with India will proceed on equal terms, foregoing any unilateral negotiations.
Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting this installment of the Asia Cup, promising a thrilling lineup of international matches in the UAE.
