Peshawar: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Ali Amin Gandapur, has reportedly spent over 50 crore rupees on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rallies and protests. According to sources, the Chief Minister has personally covered expenses for damages incurred during the rallies, including the cost of burned machinery. Additionally, he has provided the party with a fund of 5 million rupees for each rally, along with covering the expenses of hundreds of vehicles in the convoy. A large procession from the DI Khan region is set to reach Swabi under the leadership of Ameer Amin.
Spokesperson for the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faraz Mughal, speaking to Geo News, stated that Ali Amin Gandapur has borne all the costs from his own pocket and will continue to work for the party. On the other hand, internal strife has emerged regarding the removal of Ali Amin Gandapur from his party position. He was not trusted to become the party president in favor of Javed Akbar, leading to strong dissatisfaction from PTI founder Imran Khan. Imran Khan criticized Ali Amin Gandapur for meeting Mohsin Naqvi and insisted that he should not have accepted the new Inspector General of Police. He questioned how it was possible for Ali Amin and our associates to meet Mohsin Naqvi. Despite these developments, efforts continue from Ali Amin Gandapur’s side to provide financial assistance to the party, reflecting his political affiliations.
