Pakistani actor Sheheryar Munawar has offered a candid glimpse into his married life, revealing that he could not have imagined tying the knot with anyone other than his wife, actress Maheen Siddiqui.
Speaking on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, Munawar said the past few months had made one thing clear to him: if marriage was ever going to happen, it had to be with Siddiqui — otherwise he might never have married at all.
A Life Partner He Calls “Wonderful”
The actor described his wife in warm terms, calling her a wonderful person. When congratulated on his marriage, Munawar said he was grateful that married life had been treating him well so far.
He also credited Siddiqui with managing him effectively, joking that keeping him in order was a significant task in itself.
The Real Challenge of Marriage: Shared Time
Reflecting on the adjustments that come with wedlock, Munawar said the biggest challenge was spending every day with the same person. He stressed the importance of preparing oneself mentally to share 16 hours or more each day with a partner.
During the conversation, host Ahmed Ali Butt remarked that the reality of marriage typically sets in during the second week, when a person grasps that their spouse will now be a permanent presence in their life.
Munawar agreed, noting that no one warns you in advance that after marriage, someone will be by your side at all times.
Wedding Bells in December 2024
Sheheryar Munawar and Maheen Siddiqui tied the knot in December 2024, and the actor’s remarks mark one of his most candid public reflections on the union since then.
