Chinese Fighter Zhang Weili Successfully Defends UFC Strawweight Title Against American Rival Tatiana Suarez
Chinese fighter Zhang Weili successfully defended her strawweight champion title in UFC 312 by defeating American opponent Tatiana Suarez. The fight took place on February 9, 2025, in the city of Sydney, Australia, where Zhang ended Suarez’s unbeaten record of 11-0, marking her third consecutive title defense. The match lasted five rounds, after which Zhang was declared the winner by unanimous decision.
