A school van crashed off the road near Lower Mohra in Murree and burst into flames, leaving at least ten schoolchildren injured, Rescue 1122 officials said.
Vehicle Lost Control Before Plunge
According to the rescue service, the van was carrying students when the driver lost control of the vehicle, sending it off the roadside. Flames erupted from the wreckage shortly after the crash, and several of the children sustained burn injuries in the ensuing fire.
Rescue Operation and Medical Response
Emergency teams from Rescue 1122 arrived at the scene soon after being alerted to the incident. Rescue personnel evacuated the children from the vehicle and administered initial medical treatment at the site before transferring the injured to Civil Hospital Murree for further care.
