A minor disagreement escalated into a fatal shooting in Punjab’s Nankana Sahib district on Monday, leaving two people dead and one injured, according to local police.
The incident took place in Sangla Hill, where an argument between two groups turned violent. Police reported that the injured individual was transported to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad for treatment.
District Police Officer Faraz Ahmed arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. After inspecting the area, he ordered the immediate arrest of those involved. Ahmed later visited the families of the victims and promised that the suspects would be apprehended and prosecuted under the law.
In a follow-up operation, Nankana police confirmed the arrest of two suspects. The operation was conducted under Ahmed’s supervision, and authorities stated that further investigative steps are ongoing.
