گستاخانہ فلم کے خلاف احتجاج کا سلسلہ نماز جمعہ کے بعد مذہبی،سیاسی اور سماجی تنظیموں کے جانب سے احتجاجی ریلیاں نکالی گئیں جو کہ راہوالی چوک سے ہوتی ہوئی گوجرانوالہ شہر پہنچیں جہاں ٹائر بھی نذر آتش کئے گئے۔ مظاہرین نے امریکی حکومت کے خلاف سخت نعرے بازی بھی کی اور گستاخانہ فلم پر فوری پابندی عائد کرنے اور گستاخ رسول کو فوری سزا دینے کا مطالبہ بھی کیا۔
